This comic was originally created in the winter of 2021 and has been completely re-illustrated as of August 2023. This is the author's note at the back of the physical zine, which is now for sale.
While this comic is about being a chronic people pleaser, problem solver, and peacemaker, I am doing much better when I originally wrote and illustrated Wax, Icarus, Mercury in 2021. I've made a lot of progress, and know I can share my feelings & rely on others! I'm still soft, squishy, and emotional. However, it's better now with therapy, medication, time, and people.
